Trade Pasifika 2012
Pacific businesses have been showcasing their goods and services on the sidelines of major international events outside the region (e.g. Rugby World Cup, International Trade Fairs etc.). This regional trade expo provides an excellent opportunity for the region's businesses to participate and promote their products and services to potential customers within and outside the region.
It is a 3 day event where the Pacific's Private Sector will come together to showcase their goods and services to enhance trade within the region and beyond. Exhibiting products from various industries including Agriculture, Manufacturing and Processing, Fisheries, Forestry and other Trade Services. Pacific Women Entrepreneurs are encouraged to participate. Note that the Trade Pasifika 2012 will also feature regional and trade experts and business industry leaders in invogorating panel discussions. It provides an excellent opportunity for the region's businesses to come together and foster business relationships as we facilitate trade both regionally as well as internationally.

Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation
The Pacific Plan adopted by the Forum Heads of Governments in October, 2005 recognised that regional stability and security will be achieved through economic growth, improved governance and social equity. The importance of the private sector to the sustainable development and growth in the Forum Island Countries (FICs) is recognized by Governments. This view is reinforced by the outcomes of recent meetings of Forum Leaders in August 2010 in Port Vila, Vanuatu and the Forum Economic Ministers at Alofi, Niue in October 2010. Since the establishment of PIPSO in 2007, and with the development and its implementation of its five year business plan, PIPSO has made significant progress in undertaking work and programmes in the private sector of the 14 pacific Islands countries. PIPSO is committed to excellence and best practices in the conduct of all its affairs.
