The Secretariat is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced person to work as Director of Corporate Services. The Director will be accountable to the Deputy Secretary General for:
• Financial Management;
• HR and Administration;
• Information Management;
• Information Technology;
• Property Services;
• Organisational Development;
• Continuous Improvement; and
• Corporate Services Performance and Financial Management.
Applicants should have post-graduate qualification in Management, Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management or similar. Applicants must have extensive experience in a senior management position with exposure to HR best practice, experience in financial management of a medium/large organization and excellent leadership skills. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise conflicting demands and the ability to see the big picture while dealing with the details.
The appointment will carry a competitive remuneration and benefits package including medical and life insurance. Using current exchange rates, the base salary on appointment is expected to be equivalent to FJ$132,000.
